The extra covers only materialise if there is demand: guests waiting or bookings turned away at peak times.

Less waiting for guests, more turnover for you

The part of the stay guests do not choose is the waiting: for the menu, for the waiter, for the bill.

Order as soon as you sit down

The QR code on the table opens the menu: guests order when they are ready, not when the waiter is free.

No waiting for the bill

The total adds up as the table orders, split per person if needed: the table frees up sooner.

Frequently asked questions

At peak times 5-10 minutes often pass between a guest sitting down and a waiter being free to take the order. Ordering from the phone lets guests order as soon as they are ready, and that wait disappears.

Divide the minutes of service by the average time at the table and multiply by the average occupancy. With 5 hours of service, a 90 minute stay and the room 70% full, each seat is used 2.33 times a day.

Revenue Per Available Seat Hour: revenue divided by the seats available and the hours of service. It compares venues of different sizes and opening hours, and is the most used measure of how a dining room performs.

Not if it is the waiting that gets shorter rather than the meal. The minutes the calculator removes are the ones guests spend waiting to order: nobody misses them.

Only if there is demand: guests queueing, bookings turned away, a full room at peak times. If the room is never full, the gain is a calmer service with the same staff.
